You might need more movement.
A new 12-week study looked at office workers who sat most of the day. The intervention? → Stand up every hour → Move for 3 minutes → Repeat 7 times per day That’s it. ~21 extra minutes. No diet changes. No extra gym sessions. After 12 weeks they saw: ✓ Lower fasting blood sugar ✓ Better insulin sensitivity ✓ Smaller waist measurements (~2cm) ✓ Lower blood pressure ✓ Higher HDL (“good” cholesterol) ✓ More energy and productivity This is why I keep talking about the 7 × 3 Rule and not because desk squats are magic but because your body responds to frequency. Every time muscles contract, they help pull glucose out of the bloodstream. Therefore the frequency of small exercise snacks can really help. Try it for one week: 📱 Set 7 alarms 🚶 Move for 3 minutes 💧 Walk, squat, stretch, refill your water bottle Don’t replace training. Just stop sitting for hours at a time. Could you find 21 minutes in your day?
