The timing was perfect as I wanted to get lean for my upcoming wedding. Being in my mid to late 30's I was becoming aware that my body was changing and needed more work and dedication to get the results I wanted.
I lost 3kgs and now have definition. I lost 6 inches off my waist and toned my legs. I lost the dreaded muffin top and can wear my smallest clothes again! My body composition changed and I am able to complete 2 chin ups. John is a legend!

I began Personal training with John as I was generally unhappy with my overall weight and shape and was continually picking up niggling injuries at football and hoped strength training would reduce this.
I was starting to get frustrated with my fitness levels and disappointed that I had let myself go.
Since starting the training I have lost just over 6kg. I have increased the strength in my legs which has fixed an annoying recurring thigh strain. I built up the muscle on my chest, arms and back and can feel the increased cardio fitness. My waist measurements have reduced by 6cm.
I am continually learning about fitness, weights and food. With this knowledge I’m now able to add more variety and purpose to when I’m training on my own.

Goal: Leverage Group Training To Slim Down!
Since going to Human Design’s bootcamps I’ve gone from 82.3 kgs to 75.6 kgs. I have lost 6cm off my waist and I’ve noticed I have clearer definition in my abs, arms and chest. One of the biggest things is I’ve changed my eating habits.
I enjoy the group training factor. Training 3 times a week on your own & being strict on your food intake that’s a lot of discipline and personally its something I always struggled to do.
I also like that I’m meeting new people…. there is definitely a team atmosphere.
I’m active, I go to the gym, I play sport but I could never shift that last few kilos that I wanted to drop. If you want to lose those kilo this is without doubt the best way to it. I remember being so unhappy that I didn’t want anyone to get a photo of me.
One day I could not tell you what changed me but I was fed up and needing to do something about my weight and my health. Lack of motivation and energy had been a big issue and just never went to a gym if I joined.
I remember the first day training with John, it was weight and strength training. From the first training session I absolutely fell in love with Johns training style.
I have lost a little over 10 kgs. My body is more leaner and toned and I am now fitting into a size 6-8. My fitness level has increased dramatically. THE ONLY PERSON THAT CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR LIFE IS YOU!

Don't be afraid to ask for help or guidance. It might have taken me a couple of classes before I started asking for some help but once I did haven't looked back.
You have an opportunity to work with two great trainers who will encourage and guide you, whose regime and classes are always different. Through it all, you are learning about what you can do which is always surprising.
Some days are harder than others…But these days I am looking for the next challenge oppose to trying to avoid it.
