Turned out, he hadn't been the best with his diet as he did not really know where to start, what to eat, how to eat and when to eat. We set a goal to lost 10 kg's by Christmas 2016 and he has smashed it by applying some simple principles with his food. He sent me a food diary and we changed a couple of things, nothing too drastic. It had to fit in with his likes, his lifestyle and his budget. He still has a life, enjoys his beers at the weekend and has the odd drink during the week and does not eat perfect. He is getting fitter and healthier every week. Well done Shaun. Here is Shauns story.
There were a number of reasons why I started training at Human Design but if I had to narrow it down to a few reasons it would be that training and environment suited me, especially someone who wasn't overly confident in a gym or doing any High-Intensity Training in the first place. I also wanted be to be more comfortable and confident in my own skin. I had always wanted to lose weight but could never find a proper starting place, Human Design gave me that. I have loved the training and I have increase my confidence and the weight loss has been a major factor. It took a while for the pieces to come together i.e. following the meals outlaid by John and the effort I was putting in, but now I'm much more confident about who I am. These days I am looking for the next challenge oppose to trying to avoid it. I love the atmosphere at the studio and the effort people put in during the classes. I had tried a few other classes and environments but there was something about Human Design where people wanted to put the effort in, they wanted to see change and that becomes infectious, you don't want to be the one not putting in the hard yards. I would say don't be afraid to ask for help or guidance. It might have taken me a couple of classes before I started asking for some help but once I did haven't looked back. I would most certainly recommend Human Design. You have an opportunity to work with two great trainers who will encourage and guide you, whose regime and classes are always different. Through it all, you are learning about what you can do which is always surprising. Allowing this to become part of my life has been fantastic, it's become a natural part of everyday routine and that's a big thing for achieving my goals. Some days are harder than others but each session is rewarding and that is what keeps me coming back. Shaun Doherty, Business Development Manager, Sydney
